Many counties in northern Virginia have already closed schools because of the impending snow, and it is believed that Fairfax County will not be far behind, so Q-vent North has been POSTPONED. Please, watch your team email for a poll about when we should reschedule.

The forecast for this weekend is calling for snow. This is from NOAA's National Weather Service:

• Friday Night: Snow likely, mainly after 1am. Cloudy, with a low around 25. North wind between 3 and 9 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%.
• Saturday: Snow. High near 31. North wind around 13 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%.

With this is in mind, please drive safely. Do not let your gas tanks get less than 1/2 empty, and have blankets and charged cell phones in the car.
